  • Rent your own apartment, flat or house
  • Share an apartment, flat or house
  • Live in a private hostel
  • Long term quality student accomodation provider - LeStudent8

Further assistance is available after your arrival at RMIT English Worldwide.

Airport pickup

To make your arrival in Melbourne simple, RMIT English Worldwide can arrange to have someone meet you at the airport and deliver you to your accommodation.

Information session

All students attend a 1-hour information session on the Friday before their course commences. This session gives students an overview of RMIT English Worldwide and its student policies, shows students how to find their class, how to read the timetable, and generally make the first few days in class much easier.

Learning Facilities

Available to all students are:

  • Comfortable classrooms
  • Three Multi-Media laboratories
  • Computing and Internet facilities
  • An Independent Learning Centre

Independent Learning Centre (ILC)

RMIT English Worldwide’s Independent Learning Centre (ILC) offers RMIT English Worldwide students access to a range of printed and electronic language learning materials at all levels.

RMIT English Worldwide students are encouraged to study and improve their English outside their normal classroom hours in the ILC, at their own pace, using the facilities and resources that are available. The materials address all forms of English language learning skills including listening, speaking, reading, writing, pronunciation and grammar. ILC teachers and staff are available to assist students with their studies.

Free Email Service

The Independent Learning Centre has computers set aside for email purposes and all RMIT English Worldwide students receive a free email account

Leisure Activities

Student Services can help you organise sightseeing tours of Melbourne and Victoria. Popular destinations are the Grampians and Sovereign Hill, Phillip Island and the fairy penguins, the Victorian Snowfields and lots more. If you want to venture further we can help you with trips to Sydney and the Blue Mountains or Tasmania. There is a lot to do!
