English Programs

RMIT English Worldwide provides a range of English programs in Melbourne and internationally.

Our custom designed course materials help students meet the learning outcomes for the level and type of program they are studying. Students are assessed regularly during, and at the end of their courses. Both the course and assessment materials are continuously updated and improved.

General English

This program helps students to develop their ability to communicate in English and is taught across six levels from Elementary to Advanced 2.

English for Academic Purposes

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is designed to prepare students for study at RMIT and other universities and is available at three levels from Upper Intermediate to Advanced 2.

IELTS Preparation & Test

The RMIT English Worldwide IELTS Preparation program is an intensive skills-based training program that provides students with specific examination preparation for the IELTS Test. The IELTS Preparation courseware package is available for purchase by English language providers worldwide. RMIT English Worldwide is the largest IELTS Test Centre in Victoria, Australia.

Teacher Training

RMIT English Worldwide offers Teacher Training for teachers whose first language is not English and who need to become more familiar with current principles and techniques for effective English language teaching. RMIT English Worldwide is also an accredited CELTA training centre.

Aviation English

RMIT English Worldwide is a specialist in Aviation English. The intensive English language program is designed for non-native speakers of English who intend to work or who are already working in the aviation industry.

Corporate English

The RMIT English Worldwide Corporate English program is designed to provide participants with the English language skills typically required within a business context.

English for Teaching

English for Teaching is a 10-week program aimed at non-native teachers who need to teach their academic subjects in English.

Industry English

RMIT English Worldwide can deliver customised English language programs for any industry. Industry programs include English for Oil, Gas and Energy and English for Health.

Study Tours

RMIT English Worldwide, Melbourne offers Study Tours for student groups wishing to gain a wider exposure to English in areas of special interest, while enjoying a visit to Australia. Study Tours are individually designed so that groups can determine their own activities, accommodation, excursions and budget.
